Here are some comments we have received from past guests

I thought I'd drop you an email to say how very much we enjoyed staying at Villa Les Oliviers in August. We were completely fascinated by your house and all the wonderful books, photos and memorabilia it contained. It was all incredibly interesting as well as being a wonderfully comfortable and peaceful place to stay. The views are fantastic, of course, and we loved the village. It was very hard having to leave after only one week there! We left you some bottles of wine in one of the kitchen cupboards to enjoy when you're next there.

Many thanks,
Anne

We meant to email you much earlier, but we just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Villa Les Oliviers back in late August/early September. Neither of us wanted to leave. It is such a special place and we had a wonderful honeymoon. We have taken a thousand memories away with us. We both hope to go back one day, hopefully in the not too distant future!

Many thanks for all your kind help.

Kind regards,
Kym & Tom Moloney

a belated note of thanks for the most wonderful stay we had in Seillans--what a charming place, most comfortable home, and memorable countryside. It was particularly nice of you to have allowed my wife and me to arrive a night early--it was great to get our bearings and situated before our 2 teens and 2 friends arrived Saturday--the weather was extraordinary (cloudless sun the entire 2-1/2 weeks of our trip! -Seillans was charming, delicious food esp at Le Relais d'Olea--the owner had been away the first half of the week on a honeymoon! But the best was Sunday lunch at the farm in Monteraux (sp?-no map handy) with lively interaction with some lovely locals--thanks to your guidebook for all the suggestions!! Hope all is well with you

Thanks again for the use of your most special,

lovely home,
Idy Iglehart.

We have very much enjoyed staying in your lovely villa for the past two weeks. Not only is the villa beautiful inside out, but also the area it is set in is wonderful as well. The children have had a great time exploring the caves behind the house, and we have all enjoyed taking in the glorious views of the rolling hills of Provence, and the twinkling lights of the nearby villages at night.

Bargemon itself is such a quaint village, but also manages to provide you with nearly everything, including a superb art gallery and many fine restaurants. We enjoyed each and everyone of the restaurants in Bargemon, but our particular favourite, was "Chez Pierrot" We visited many wonderful and interesting places in the area, including the amazing Gorges du Verdon, and the rather different and yet unforgettable town of St Tropez

However, with the lovely hot weather we had, we enjoyed nothing more than lazing around the pool and jumping in whenever we needed to cool down. Fantastic! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely villa, without which we wouldn't have been able to take in the delights of Southern France in such comfort.

We have just returned from France and must thank you for our holiday at La Bastide. It is such a wonderful place - way beyond our expectations - even with all the pictures and information it's only on seeing it with your own eyes you can really appreciate its beauty! Everyone had the best holiday and we were all very sad to leave on Saturday.

My brother rang to say that Michael, his 7 year old, was sobbing on the sofa wanting to go back to France - I think that sums up how we all feel. We were also very interested in all your pictures and photographs - you are obviously a family who have led amazing lives and it was lovely to get some small insight while staying in your beautiful property.

P.S we tried all the restaurants and loved each experience.

Hard to say what we enjoyed most. The beautiful lavender and pink oleander around the pool, the beautiful view of Bargemon from the front table having a leisurely dinner (or breakfast), or the delightful veranda off the kitchen. Add to that classical music, wonderful books, the comfort and warmth of your home. We had a wonderful time and have wonderful memories of living for two weeks in Provence as though we belonged in Provence. Thank you for having us in your home, and I hope we shall stay in touch.

Many, many thanks for everything from all of us. Very best wishes

What can I say? My second daughter and I arrived very late at night, very tired, and still even in the dark there was the VIEW! Amazing us as it had done the rest of the family earlier on in the day. Bargemon is by far the loveliest village we have seen and we have seen many as we are looking for our own place as you know. All through our stay we kept running into friends on the same mission, some of them having already found their little niche. Some of them came over to see your house and all agreed. A lovely family house with a strong character. We had a lovely time and it all went far too quickly. But we will be back, since our mission has not been completed!
Many thanks.

I truly feel like we have fallen in the land of enchantment- everything from the house to our dinner at le Restaurant du Chateau to the Bastille Day festivities in the village were all better than we could have imagined and being able to share it all with my friend of over 40 years, has made it a week never to be forgotten.

What a fabulous time we had in your lovely villa. Thank you for sharing it with us. We so thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular view among many other things. We took your recommendations on restaurants and found them to be fabulous.

We have made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.
